I have read most of the reviews and finally opted for this phone having a doubt in the mind if this works for me or not when it comes to futuristic technologies introduced like sound casting, elevating camera and onscreen fingerprint scanner. I am not disappointed with sound casting and it is not as bad as most of the reviewers mentioned. I hardly observed any difference between a usual phone ear piece and this. Sound quality is really good during calls and since more than a month I have been using this and till date never regretted of purchasing this. Elevating camera is a rockstar and I am little disappointed with front camera quality but compared to most of the phones in the market it stands in the front row and it is not as bad. Primary dual camera setup stands tall. I am immersed with the picture quality. Compared to DSLR this phone captured pictures have become favorites to my friends. *******Updated 06/11/2018********* Slow Motion Video Recording is too bad. There seems to be a bug in the slow motion recording. This should be corrected. When we start recording 10 seconds video will become 10 minutes also the video quality is too bad even if it is HD of FHD. A software update should fix this issue. Might not be a major issue, but slow motion video lovers may get disappointed with this quality of recording. On screen fingerprint scanner is little let down here and need lot of improvement. Some times it won't detect your fingers and have to approach pattern or numbers to unlock. Sometimes it works like a charm. I assume this may be because of finger cleanliness but not as good as physical fingerprint. Hope software update may fix the accuracy issue. Overall performance of this phone since a month is really flawless never observed any lag till date. Battery performance is not up to the mark. It hardly lasts a day due to big screen display. Sometimes even if u don't touch the phone percentage of battery goes down. ********Updated on 15-10-2018: Post recent patch update, I could see lot of improvement in battery performance. It lasts a day and half with normal usage and a day with heavy usage.******* Build quality of the phone is really good. Back case provided in the box is the best one and u can't replace it with others available in the market. It is with such a good quality. Screen protector is also really good I have been using the same screen protector since more than a month and it still looks clean and neat. Most of reviewers mentioned issue with the customized OS on this device which really not a bad thing. I never had any issues with it. I didn't observe any issues with the os instead it's cool and never looked like iOS to me. I always got a feeling like I am using android phone. I didn't speak about sound quality as most of them have already given very good feedback for it's audio output quality when connected to headphones via 3.5 mm jack and I am truly enjoying the audio output. It's loud on speaker and crystal clear quality output when u use some good quality headphone. Initially I was doubtful of procuring a vivo device because I never used this brand in my life before. I have been using all flagship phones with good brands but I realized that vivo stands up tall with this phone. Most of the low budget to flagships are providing face unlock feature nowadays which should also work with NEX, but not sure why vivo is not pushing. May be they don't want the elevating camera to use frequently for face unlock, but if the face unlock is pushed on to the device, there will not be any disappointment using this device. I tried a 3rd party app to unlock apps using face unlock and that works well with elevating camera, so vivo should think about it seriously in the future updates Pushing updates and upgrades frequently will put this phone for sure top in the race. Vivo is not marketing this phone much don't know why. They are marketing v11 pro over this.
